Just firings where you learn a lot. Sometimes A LOT. This was the firing where I learned it is really worth the time to protect your new shelves with kiln wash. Even when it sets you back a day. Or a week. Sigh. This happened last year around this time. It still hurts.

Mugs melted onto kiln shelves, Pots with chipped up (chiseled off) bottoms next to a hammer.
